Author Biography

  • Behnam Khodarahmi, Independent scholar, UK

    Behnam Khodarahmi is a music researcher, composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist with a background in both artistic practice and academic inquiry. He holds degrees in Music and Management, a Master’s in Creative Industries Futures, and an Advanced Certificate in Music Therapy. He has volunteered as a music therapist in mental-health clinics, contributing to community-based programs supporting emotional well-being and recovery. His research explores the intersection of culture, music, and health, with particular attention to cross-cultural music therapy and the role of indigenous and traditional repertoires in therapeutic contexts.
