Author Biography

Eugenia Hernandez-Ruiz, Arizona State University, USA

Eugenia Hernandez-Ruiz PhD, MT-BC is a Mexican, US-trained music therapist and Assistant Professor at Arizona State University, USA. Her research interests include early intervention with autistic children and their families, parent coaching, music neuroscience, and music therapy student development. Through her music therapy agency in Mexico, MusiCura, S.C., she provides music therapy services, workshops, and educational materials for parents, and supervision to other professionals. She is Associate Editor of Music Therapy Perspectives and part of the editorial board of the Journal of Music Therapy.
