Philippa Derrington has worked as a music therapist in different contexts. Her experience of working alongside young people has shaped her dialogic approach to teaching and learning. She is a Senior Lecturer, leads the MSc Music Therapy at Queen Margaret University Edinburgh, and serves as Liaison Editor for Approaches: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Music Therapy.
